Gopher from Go (Golang)

In 2019, I published this pattern using the name Evelina Del Bosque on Ravelry. Now I improved the pattern and republished it. I also added a pattern for the smaller gopher.

If you want an ad-free PDF version you can get the pattern through my Ravelry store:

Materials

Yarns:

- Light Blue: body and ears

- White: eyes and teeth

- Black: eyes, nose and ears

- Tan: mouth, arms. legs and tail

Yarn weight is not very important, but please choose the hook accordingly.

I used Catona cotton from Scheepjes (which is 50 grams - 125 m) with a 2.5 mm hook. The end product is around 10*8*5 cm big. The small version is around 6*5*4 cm big.

Please note that by using thicker yarn and a bigger crochet hook, your end product will be bigger than mine. You can also create a smaller product by using thinner yarn and a smaller crochet hook.

For stuffing:

You can use the polyfill or any other type of filling you like.

Abbreviations

    1. For fasten off, usually means do a slip stitch and pull the remain yarn you, this video may be useful https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GfGbwyUE3Mk. To sew parts together, some videos on youtube may help: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JpuObtioZs4&list=PLjJX_lEDo_D-oiI9U91w-p0Bwch3TCmF8&index=3
